Interestingly enough though, Harton doesn’t mention the PS4 version at all, though we don’t know if that means plans have changed to bring it to Sony’s console as well. In short, this means that DayZ is scheduled to get a full release on both Steam and Xbox One next year. In the status report by lead producer Eugene Harton, it’s outlined that th e planned goal to get the game into beta before the end of 2017 has sadly been missed due to the sheer scope of the project, but it is expected to be one of the last major updates before the game finally comes out of Early Access – a state the game’s been in since 2013. 47 DayZ was officially released out of early access for Windows on December 13, 2018, and for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early 2019.
